Holiday booking procedures
Once we have confirmed your dive holiday and activities, we require a non-refundable deposit of £100, to secure your booking. Then 4 weeks before the booking starts we will require the known balance of your holiday, for which we will send you a reminder 5 weeks before your holiday commences. The final balance, upon conclusion of your holiday, has to be paid either in cash or via bank transfer, before you leave. Remember to bring your bank card, if needed, for this transaction.
If, for reasons totally beyond your control, you are not able to come i.e. due to medical illness or a personal tragedy, or any unforeseen act of God, we are not able to refund your holiday monies paid. However we will hold your monies paid, in lieu of a future holiday, for up to one calendar year. We strongly recommend you take out Travel Insurance, covering cancellations to cover yourself against any unforeseen circumstances.
All courses are paid for up front and are non-refundable. If you commence your dive course but do not, for any reason, wish to continue with your dive course, then that is your decision but you will still be liable for the full amount of the course. We will, of course, do all we can to encourage and help you along the way. If your PADI Open Water Course takes longer than a reasonable amount of time, max 4 days, then there is a charge per day to continue of £70 per day.
If you start a scuba dive, but are unable to continue due to problems beyond our control, (for example ear problems) we reserve the right to count it as a dive and charge accordingly. We need to know, in advance if you have any special requirements; for example disabilities, food intolerances or unusual sizes for dive equipment (i.e. wet suits) so we can make suitable arrangements ahead of time for you. We cannot be responsible for any delays or problems resulting from not giving us due notice.
Any bad behaviour, we deem unsuitable for our club, will not be tolerated. Any behaviour resulting in arrest or injuries to yourself or others will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to remove you and any members of your group from the premises of Dive Urge if your behaviour continues to cause undue problems for us. This is applicable both underwater and above, we will not tolerate damaging behaviour in either instance.
