General Terms & Conditions
Holiday Booking & Payment Procedures
Once we have confirmed your dive holiday and activities, we require a non-refundable deposit of £200 per room booked and £150 per dive course booked, to secure your booking. Any E-learning, bought via ourselves, will be paid up in advance too. Then 4 weeks before your holiday, we will request full payment of the balance of your booked accommodation and diving. We will send you a reminder beforehand. The final balance at the end of your holiday, must be paid either in cash or via bank transfer, before you leave. Remember to bring your bank card, if needed, for this transaction. Please note that travelers’ cheques are not accepted.
All guests are required to present a valid government issued photo identification (passport or National ID card) upon check-in.
Please note that all payments made are non-refundable. Dive Urge is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. If, for reasons totally beyond your control, you are not able to come i.e. due to medical illness, a personal tragedy, or an unforeseen act of God, we will not refund your payment, but will hold your payment in lieu of a future holiday, for up to one calendar year from your original dates. We strongly recommend you organize appropriate travel Insurance for your holiday, covering cancellations due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Please contact us directly at info@dive-urge.com to purchase or redeem gift certificates.
We reserve the right to refuse reservation at any time for any reason.
Dive Courses
All courses are paid for up front and are non-refundable. If you commence your dive course but do not, for any reason, wish to continue with your dive course, then that is your decision but you will still be liable for the full amount of the course. We of course, will do all we can to encourage and help you along the way. If your PADI Open Water Course takes longer than a reasonable amount of time (maximum 4 days) then there is an extra charge of £70 per day to continue.
If you start a scuba dive, but are unable to continue due to problems beyond our control, (for example ear problems) we reserve the right to count it as a dive and charge accordingly. We need to know, in advance if you have any special requirements; for example, disabilities, food intolerances or unusual sizes for dive equipment (i.e. wet suits) so we can make suitable arrangements ahead of time for you. We cannot be responsible for any delays or problems resulting from not giving us due notice.
