Glamping at Ras Abu Galum
Ras Abu Galum – Dahab, South Sinai- Egypt
The trips to Ras Abu Galum for a expedition; camel riding and diving superb unspoilt reef, are memorable and fabulous experiences.
“A holiday within a holiday” as described by our Guest Millie, who recently enjoyed our overnight dive safari…
Here your trusty Camel takes your dive gear and you head north up the coast to the most remote dive sites Dahab has to offer. Riding along these ancient camel trails -you can walk too, it is an easy 1 hour walk- on the coastal path gives you a breath-taking view of the scenery while your sturdy Camel gets you there safely.
Delicious fire cooked local food and plenty of Bedouin tea and snacks are provided throughout the trip. And now… introducing a longer and special version of the trip as we decided to stay overnight.
This is a dive safari not to be missed nor forgotten. A unique chance to dive these pristine sites, including a night and a sunrise dive too.
Enjoy a real break from ‘life as we know it’ and the chance to sleep under the stars next to the sea. More ‘glamping’ than camping. No worries, apart of the amazing diving and delicious food, the trip also includes a comfy bedding too.
With Millie we enjoyed our camel trek to the national park of Ras Abu Galum (R.A.G.) With 6 dives over 2 days, pristine corals and fish in clear, warm water. Amongst other amazing sights was a feathertail sting ray (Pastinachus sephen) on our night dive which was amazing.
